Low Fell Community Pre-school
Admissions Policy & Waiting List
The aim of Low Fell Community Pre-school is to provide facilities and education for children of Pre-School age 2-4, who live in the local community and surrounding areas. We will endeavour to make sure that all commitments stated by the Registration Authority are strictly adhered to. Parents/Carers will be invited and encouraged to visit Pre-school with their child before he/she begins Pre-School.

Parents/Carers/Grown-ups are welcome to stay with their child until both are happy about separation. Parents/Carers will be re-assured that they will be contacted to return to Pre-school if their child is distressed in any way during the settling in period.
We operate a waiting list, which parents/careers can place their child's name on, children will be admitted in the following order (1 being the highest priority for a place):
1. The eldest on the list.
2. The child with his/her name on first.
3. Children living in the local area.
4. Children who are 4 years old and moving to the area will be given priority.
5. Children in need, including looked after children will be given priority.
6. Children attending another setting will not be given priority.

Pre-school Manager will advise Parent/Career when a space becomes available for their child. A letter/email will be sent out to the child's home inviting to Parent/Carer to contact Pre-school to discuss their child's place.

30 Hours Childcare for eligible working families in England
9 months old funding- only for Children turning 2 years old within the term. Children start from their 2nd Birthday

3 and 4 years old funding
15 hours free early learning and childcare 2 years Old, if their families receive certain benefits.
15 hours Childcare for all families in England All 3-4 year Olds
